Cyber Classroom AI is used by children. We collect the minimum we need to teach them, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising. A parent must approve an account before a child can use the service, and a parent can review or delete everything at any time.

1Who we are

Cyber Classroom AI (“we”, “the service”) is an online learning service where a child learns a topic and then teaches it back to an AI study partner. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

Questions, requests, or complaints: support@cyberclassroomai.com.

2A parent creates the account

Only a parent or legal guardian may create an account. During sign-up the parent must check a box giving verifiable consent for their child to use the service. Without that consent we do not create a child profile and the child cannot sign in.

A parent may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. When consent is withdrawn we delete the child’s profile and learning records.

3What we collect

From the parent: name, email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never in readable form), an optional phone number, and a numeric PIN.

From the child: we deliberately keep this small.

  • First name (or a nickname) and grade level. We do not ask for a last name, address, birth date, or photo.
  • A numeric PIN the child uses to sign in on the family’s device.
  • Their schoolwork: the lessons they write, answers they submit, and reading check-ins.
  • Progress data: scores, which topics were attempted, and time stamps.
  • Voice recordings, only when the child chooses to use a speaking or read-aloud feature.
  • Video and audio during a live class, and a class recording if the teacher starts one (see §6).

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics that profile children.

4How we use it

  • To run the lessons: grade what the child taught back, pick the next difficulty, and track progress.
  • To show the parent and the child’s teacher an accurate picture of how the child is doing.
  • To keep the account secure and to contact the parent about the service.

We do not sell personal information, share it with data brokers, use it for behavioural advertising, or use a child’s schoolwork to train external AI models.

5Service providers who process data for us

We use a small number of providers strictly to deliver features the child is using. They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

  • AI grading provider — receives the lesson text a child writes, in order to assess understanding and return feedback.
  • Video meeting provider — carries live class audio and video while a class is running.
  • Cloud storage provider — stores class recordings and reading materials.
  • Speech provider — converts a child’s recorded reading to text for scoring, when that feature is used.
  • Email provider — sends account emails to the parent.

Only the features a child actually uses cause data to reach the matching provider. If you would rather your child not use the voice or live-class features, tell us and we will disable them for your child while keeping the rest of the service working.

6Live classes and recordings

A teacher may record a live class. Because a class recording contains every child in that class, a recording is never sent to any individual parent. It is used internally by the teaching team for lesson review only, is stored in private cloud storage that is not publicly accessible, and can only be opened through a short-lived link by an authenticated teacher.

A teacher may also view a student’s screen during a session. Whenever this happens the child’s own screen shows a visible “your teacher is watching” notice for the entire time. We do not offer, and will not build, a way to watch a child covertly.

7How long we keep it

  • Account and learning records — kept while the account is active, so the child can see their own progress over time. Deleted within 30 days of an account being closed or consent withdrawn.
  • Class recordings — kept only as long as needed for teaching review, and deleted on request.
  • Live screen viewing — never stored. Screen data exists only in memory while a teacher is actively watching and is discarded the moment they stop.
  • Voice recordings — kept with the related reading check-in and deleted with the account.

8Parent rights

At any time a parent may ask us to: show everything we hold about their child; correct it; delete it; or stop collecting anything further. Email support@cyberclassroomai.com from the address on the account and we will respond within 30 days. We will not require you to give us more information than we need to find the account.

9Security

Passwords and PINs are stored as salted hashes, never in readable form. Access to the teaching and parent dashboards requires authentication, and each parent can only see their own child. Data is stored on servers we control.

No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your child’s information, we will notify you.

10Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects what we collect from a child or who receives it, we will notify the parent and obtain fresh consent where the law requires it.
